Anglers put more emphasis on panfish as walleye bite slows |
|
Fishing had been very good just prior to this week's cold front. Once the weather improves look to Snaghole Bar for perch in 15 to 34 feet - depth just depends on the day, which means there are days when they're shallow and others when they sit deep. Horseshoe Bar also is worth noting for perch in 22 to 30 feet and there is some decent walleye action to be had late in the afternoon and early evening hours on the bars in 18 to 20 feet. Northern pike are being caught throughout most perch and walleye locations as well.
